Primary Responsibility: The Store Manager has the primary responsibility of driving totalstore results in Sales, Shrink, Turnover, and Payroll Management thoughcoaching and development of the entire store team. In addition, the Store Manager owns theoverall store and ensures operational excellence. Success Metrics: SalesGrowth to Last Year ShrinkReduction TurnoverImprovement PayrollControl Culture and Customer: Ownerof Associate Opinion Survey. LeadsPositive Associate Relations (PAR) practices. Ownsassociate retention strategies. Personallydemonstrates and provides coaching to total store through selling behaviors andobservations in all zones (selling floor, cash wrap, fitting room, andnon-sales area) and building customer loyalty. Talent: Driver of the talent life cycle fortotal store and personally executes for direct reports. Talent Life Cycleactions include selection/interviewing, onboarding, coaching/performancemanagement, succession, reward and recognition, and culture/engagement. Acts as final decision maker for allhiring decisions within the store. Schedules and leads performancemanagement for direct reports (Annual, Mid-year, Monthly Touch points) andoversees total store execution of performance management. Responsible for total store executionof associate observations and monthly performance reviews. Identifies succession for eachleadership role within the store and co-creates individual development plansfor direct reports. Brand: Approves all brand initiatives andstrategies (Sales Education, Launches, Events, Brand Promotions, and ProductTesting). Approves brand guide planning, mappingand execution plan for the overall appearance and presentation of merchandisingstrategies of each brand. Ensures associates and leadershipunderstand and maintain visual merchandising standards of total store. Operations: Owns payroll management for totalstore. Assesses core availability ofassociates with Assistant Store Manager (Brand Operations) or Manager to ensureaccurate hiring goals are determined and achieved for total store. Creates Sales Leadership Team planningtool monthly in accordance with company guidance. Collaborates with scheduling AssistantStore Manager (Brand Operations) or Manager to validate all scheduling needs oftotal store are being executed and approves final weekly schedule for total store. Reviews the average hours by associatereport to validate associates needs and business needs. Accountable for shrink results andactivities by driving operational excellence. Gains business insight by reviewingtotal store results daily, weekly, monthly and linking behaviors toactions. Actions include writing Store WeeklyFocus, conducting quarterly Store Visit Summary, and participating in district,region, and company conference calls. All leadership roles at Victoria'sSecret are responsible for: Leadingand demonstrating the company values within the store at all times. Leading the entire sales floor whileassigned to the role of Customer Sales Lead (CSL) and ensuring the team isdelivering the best buying environment for the customer. Gaining business insight by reviewingtotal store results daily, weekly and monthly and linking behaviors to actions. Upholdingpositive associate relations that lead to engagement in the brand and the team. Executing store opening and closingprocedures and recovery. Reinforcing store strategies to reduceshrink and build personal capabilities in asset protection. Effectively managing and controllingexpenses.
