Eagle Pharmaceuticals is seeking a National Accounts Manager. This position is responsible for coordinating and directing all activities related to account management to create favorable positioning for Eagle products at the national level. Primary customer segments include but are not limited to specialty and traditional GPO s, federal health services, full line wholesalers, specialty wholesalers, and nuclear pharmacies.

Effectively communicate appropriate product messaging to identify national customer segments to successfully promote the appropriate on-label use(s) of approved product(s).
Utilize effective selling techniques and marketing strategies to create and expand national demand for any/all promoted brand (s)
Develop and coordinate national physician advocates for promoted critical care/oncology product (s)
Implement and manage all contracting activities including pricing, distribution, and service agreements


IDN s:
Negotiate and manage agreements with Integrated Delivery Networks
Work internally and externally to fulfill levels of commitment relative to agreements with customers
Work with field team communicating to ensure proper and timely management of contracts
Develop and build relationships with key contacts at specialty and full-line wholesalers and distributors
Understand product set up, pricing and ordering process
Manage agreements, product pricing and contracts
Consistently communicate with wholesaler contacts to ensure that product is available, marketed, priced competitively and that wholesaler is meeting agreement metrics.
Work with customers and wholesalers to ensure that contracts and pricing are loaded correctly.
Communicate with internal and external partners to and Manage GPO level and individual account pricing changes
Develop relationships with key contacts at hospital GPOs
Understand and negotiate contracts/placement opportunities
Develop and execute on contracting, marketing, reporting
Understand product opportunities by GPO and marketplace
Work with GPO marketing team to understand and execute on marketing opportunities to influence key stakeholders.


Work with Eagle internal team to manage GPO reporting functions. Conduct essential field activities including, but not limited to corporate meetings, account specific meetings and others relative to the specific markets
National Accounts Manager is responsible for attending key GPO and Wholesaler meetings, coordinating any marketing/presentation opportunities, staffing meetings as needed.
Work as a resource for various Critical Care/ Oncology organizations, teaching institutions, physician networks, specialty distributors and pharmacies, integrated delivery hospital networks
Communicate regularly with team members, Business Unit Managers, Sales Director, Peers, Internal/External Partners, and Clients to optimize resources and exceed customer expectations
Comply with all OIG, Pharma, and Corporate Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines
Complete expense reports and other required administrative reports accurately and timely
Attend training programs, conventions, customer meetings and symposia
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of the business of acute care, specialty, and oncology and changing environment and trends
Provide support to all internal and external customers

Skills, Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree, MBA Preferred
Minimum of 3 or more current years of Biotech/Pharmaceutical sales and sales management experience--- marketing and/or account management is highly desirable
Minimum of 2 or more current years of work experience in related areas specifically in the Acute Care, Specialty, and Oncology therapeutic markets
Experience in the GPO/distribution space
Strong record of accomplishment of successfully hitting/exceeding sales targets, including demonstrated success of selling in a national level customer segment
Ability to think, plan, and act strategically, while applying tactics to support the strategy
Effective oral and written communication skills
Preferred in depth product and customer segment knowledge within the Acute Care, Specialty, and Oncology therapeutic marketplace
Ability to travel extensively for customer coverage and/or for company meetings
Demonstrated ability/positive record of accomplishment of working cross-functionally to achieve success including but not limited to marketing, legal, finance, medical and regulatory.


Must be available to work in the evenings and weekends, as required.
