The Position Reporting to the Senior Manager of Operations & Maintenance, the Facilities Equipment Inventory Specialist will support the inventorying of building assets, including boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, generators, and other building equipment requiring preventive maintenance. They will learn and utilize an efficient process for collecting this information. This position will be responsible for creating the foundational element that will be required in the development of a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for one of the largest New York City entities, which supports the operations and maintenance for more than 100 million square feet of space throughout the five boroughs of New York City. The ideal candidate will be engaged in the start of creating a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for our client, and have the opportunity for advancement as the program expands. The Ideal Candidate Aramark seeks a candidate with a strong commitment to gathering equipment data in a consistent, comprehensive and accurate manner. The ideal candidate should be capable of identifying all types of electrical and mechanical equipment found within a building, which may require preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate will collaborate with a team of equipment inventory specialists to ensure a comprehensive and accurate inventory of equipment is collected, recorded and maintained. Understand and be able to identify the different types of HVAC systems, chillers (centrifugal, absorption, et) and boilers (firetube, watertube, cast iron sectional, etc) Desire to learn about Preventive Maintenance Best Practices and how a comprehensive equipment list is the foundational element towards creating a comprehensive program Education/Training A College or Technical Degree preferred, but the substitution of industry experience will also be considered.
